Supply of 28 Flowmeters for Kerman Combined Cycle Power Plant

Kerman Power Generation Company required a multi-size flow measurement package for the Shahid Soleimani Combined Cycle Power Plant. The measuring points involved different pipe sizes, operating conditions and communication requirements across raw-water and hot-water services. The contract scope covered the manufacture and supply of 28 mechanical and electromagnetic flowmeters ranging from 3 to 16 inches. The electromagnetic section included three flowmeters in 4-inch and 16-inch sizes, together with three power supply units. The instruments were specified with remote transmitters, graphical displays, isolated 4–20 mA outputs, pulse and frequency outputs, RS-485 Modbus RTU communication, GPRS connectivity and internal data logging. The mechanical section included 25 dry-dial turbine flowmeters in 3, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14-inch sizes. Two units were specified for hot-water service at temperatures up to 90°C.
