Description

This is a single sensor solution for measuring NO2, CO and visibility in a road traffic tunnel, rail tunnel or other confined spaces. These measurements and processes are used as part of an air quality management system for ventilation control and monitoring or secondary smoke detection. The IVS2 series visibility detection sensor is a tool for measuring the atmospheric extinction coefficient and determining the visual range of the environment. This device measures the atmospheric extinction coefficient or visibility of the environment by sending a light beam with a wavelength of 550nm from one side (transmitter) and receiving it from the other side (receiver) and calculating the amount of energy received. The electrochemical sensors built into the ECG1 series can also measure the amount of NO2 and CO gases in the environment. IVS2 series sensors are capable of measuring the field of view with high accuracy in the range of 10 meters to 10 kilometers and convert the obtained information into standard current, voltage and RS485 outputs for use. The most important applications of this device include determining the visibility level on highways and airports and the level of pollution and visibility in tunnels, which are vital in reducing energy consumption (permanent use of projectors and air conditioners) and increasing safety. General applications: Measuring the field of vision in various weather conditions such as fog, dust, smoke, snow and rain.
